Boston is about History, and making History. We’re Paul Revere and Marky Mark, Harvard University and Olin College, the Public Garden and the Food Project, Beacon Hill and the Innovation District, the African Meeting House and co-housing, the Back Bay and the Big Dig. Boston’s large institutions serve as magnets for people from around the world who come for our universities, hospitals and innovative companies. You’d never expect in a place where there’s so much happening that it can feel like a small walkable town. Boston is a great place to live not so much because of its prestigious institutions, although they act as anchors it’s individuals and small organizations who make “good” stuff happen.

Together we are taking on the challenges that will lead to an even more amazing city, one that is not only historical and innovative, but also inclusive, creative, fun, and ready for the next generation of urban challenges.

City Ambassador

Rosie Weinberg

Rosie is an architectural designer and an artist. She found her passion in “making” at a young age and did it on nights and weekends while working in architecture until she started her current position at NuVu Studio. NuVu is a full-time innovation school for young minds in Central Square, Cambridge that applies the architectural studio model to multi-disciplinary, collaborative projects. Rosie incorporates issues related to social justice as much as possible into the industrial design and fashion studios she teaches. She maintains a studio at Artisan’s Asylum in Somerville where she creates urban installations and piñatas.

Good is:
Having and fulfilling a mission that is above and beyond economics; it is art, community, inclusiveness, sustainability, innovation and fun.
