San Francisco has a rich history of being at the forefront of civic engagement and community building. The city is attracting top talent with a wide range of skills that are wanting to contribute back into their communities and neighborhoods. People who live here are witnessing the amount of “good” happening around them, from small non-profits working in providing innovative health solutions for those in need to the philanthropy work by some of the leading tech firms based in the city.

Good is:
Adding value back into the world. Good is contributing to a team or a cause that is helping address a problem. Good is the creation of something positive that others can use to better their lives. Good is a small act by one person or a huge initiative by a group of compassionate people. Good is engaging in the place you live. Good is giving back when a need is visible. Good is particular, but also universal.

Good is:
About giving a damn. It is saying YES to life and the opportunities to make things better everyday for others. Step by step. Small acts fueled by compassion, empathy, curiosity and inclusivity. It’s about being a present and proactive partner, friend, neighbor, and global citizen. Good is enabling the impossible to be possible, together.
